2009 National Muster
2009 National Muster - Ken Mayhew NW Region Director and 2009 Muster Chairman
Greetings from the 2009 National Muster Site in Lacey, WA. - Plans are coming together for a very successful 2009 National Muster with tours, seminars, entertainment and games. As of 10 April we have reached the 150 rigs capacity limit, with 10 members on the waiting list. As mentioned in the last issue of the Traveler, we will probably have some cancelations as September approaches. So if you haven’t registered yet, we encourage you to please register soon.
For those of you that are flying out to the National Muster and planning to stay in a motel you must register with National and we would also appreciate an e-mail or a phone call to the Muster Chairman, so we may have accurate headcount for meals. E-mail address: klmhmayhew@nwi.net , or call 509-885-3606. For information on motels, the Pacific Northwest or the Lacey, WA area you can visit the following web sites:

iGoogle.com to search for motels in the Lacey, WA area.
For those flying out and renting an RV you can do an internet search in the SeaTac/ Seattle, Tacoma, or Olympia, area for availability. I would encourage those attending the National Muster to allow some time for sight-seeing either pre or post muster. Thoughts could be the Lewis & Clark Trail, Yellowstone, Utah National Parks, Glacier National Park, the Canadian Provinces to the North (don’t forget your passports), Mt Rainier, Olympic National Park, Mt Shasta, and the rugged pacific coast beaches of CA, OR, and WA. These are just a few highlights for your trip coming or going. (see article in this issue of the Traveler “On your Way to the 2009 National Muster,, Lacey, WA”. Courtesy of Jim Mims)

The white short sleeved T-Shirt is of good quality(medium weight) cotton / polyester blend with the National Muster Logo stenciled (green) on the left upper portion of the shirt.
